Your distance may vary, but the purchase of currency can feel like a black hole where you could very easily not get back something you feel is worth it in return. While this can speed up progress, I will recommend not doing so. NOTE 1 - As a free game, the mechanics highly incentivize the purchase of the premium currency, crystals. I will aim to discuss why that is later in the walkthrough. While it is possible to acquire all of them, there is no guarantee of 400 cards being available at any given time. UPDATE: All achievements are now obtainable (in the broad sense). The number continues to move up, but it has been a slow climb for all involved. While there are also 49 "rune" cards, these do not affect the tracker and do not count towards this achievement. As of the time of writing, there are only 395 unique "monster" cards. The LoA developers have an achievement requiring players to acquire 400 unique cards. WARNING - There is currently 1 Unobtainable achievement. You can only do this when you first start the game during character creation/selection. I will not receive anything if you use it, but it will give you some extra Magic Tickets and a 4 star "Time Traveler" card to start with.

If you input a friend code upon starting up the first time (during character creation), you get some early bonuses. First Time Players - Before starting, I would recommend finding a "friend reference" code for someone else or have a "dummy account" friend code.
